Margarida Amaro has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

In 2009, they worked as the International Development Manager at Access2 Carbon Markets, where they specialized in carbon transactions and offered carbon advisory services.

From 2011 to 2013, Margarida worked as a Freelancer Economist and Consultant, providing their expertise in economic analysis.

During the same period, they also served as a Project Assistant and Financial Management Technician at ANIMAR - Associação Portuguesa para o Desenvolvimento Local, focusing on local economic development projects and sustainable rural development.

In 2011, Margarida was a Researcher at CEG-UL: Centre for Geographical Studies, University of Lisbon.

Margarida then joined Aixam Lusitana in 2014 as a Personal Assistant to the Export General Manager.

From 2016 to the present, Margarida has been associated with Siemens Logistics. Margarida initially worked as the Management and CEO Assistant in Portugal. Later, they transitioned into the role of Corporate Wellbeing Promoter, focusing on promoting wellness initiatives within the company.

In 2020, Margarida volunteered as a Kids Yoga Teacher at Helpo ONGD.

In 2021, they joined GoldNutrition as part of the partnership management team for sports clubs and associations.

Currently, Margarida is working towards becoming a Certified Yoga Teacher, starting their journey in January 2023.

Margarida Amaro completed their education in a chronological order. Margarida first obtained a Licenciatura in Economics from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, which they pursued from 1995 to 2003. Next, they pursued an Executive Master in Mercados e Activos Financeiros (CEMAF-ISCTE BUSINESS SCHOOL) from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa in 2007. Lastly, they obtained a Master's degree in Population, Society and Territory from IGOT - Instituto de Geografia e Ordenamento do Território, Universidade de Lisboa, which they pursued from 2011 to 2013.
