Jim Bycroft

Jim Bycroft is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in cybersecurity and network consulting. Currently, Jim serves as the Lead Solutions Designer and Chief Technical Officer at SIEMonster, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of an open-source, enterprise-grade Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system, designed as an alternative to commercial solutions. Prior to SIEMonster, Jim held the position of Lead Pentester at Kustodian, a security firm known for penetration testing and security operations center implementation. Jim's career began as a Senior Network Consultant in a self-employed capacity, providing expertise in network solutions from 1990 to 2006.
