Katherine Nielsen

Katherine Nielsen serves as the Executive Coordinator and Project Manager at Sierra Club BC since December 2022. Prior work experience includes roles as Special Project Manager at Metropolitan Floors from January 2016 to May 2022, where Katherine supported ownership in company-wide implementations, and as Executive Assistant, providing administrative support and coordinating events. As a Marketing Communications Coordinator, responsibilities included customer support across six websites and managing communications. As a Professional Artist at KNielsen Artworks from July 2010 to December 2021, work focused on mixed media exploring social issues. Additionally, Katherine worked as an Arts Instructor across various studios and served as Visual Arts Assistant for the District of West Vancouver. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University and an Associate of Arts in Peace and Conflict from Langara College, among other studies in art and curation.
