Daniel Mark Dodd has a diverse work experience in various industries. Daniel Mark started their career at Goodrich as a Missiles Module Support Engineer, where they successfully implemented quality-control measures and process improvements, resulting in cost savings and an EEF award. Daniel Mark then worked at Atkins in the Aviation & Defense sector for a short period before joining the European Space Agency as an Engineering Team Leader. Following this, they worked at the University of Bristol as a Masters Researcher, where they conducted extensive testing on marine current turbines. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Engineering at Sierra Energy, where they are responsible for managing the development of a novel technology and securing significant grants and contracts. In addition, they are recognized as the lead technical author for grant and contract proposals.
Daniel Mark Dodd completed their education with a Professional Certificate in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies from Stanford University in 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Bristol from 2003 to 2007, graduating with First Class Honors and a GPA equivalent of 3.75. As part of their undergraduate studies, they spent a year at the University of California, Davis, in 2005-2006, where they obtained a Master's degree in Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering with a GPA of 3.87.
