Laxmi Rao

Laxmi Rao is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in accounting and operations management across various sectors, including non-profit organizations, education, and the auto industry. Currently serving as a Grants Accountant at Sierra Health Foundation since March 2021, Laxmi has demonstrated expertise in full cycle accounting, grant management, and financial reporting. Previous roles include Staff Accountant at Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services, where Laxmi handled accounts payable, receivable, and auditing processes; accounting functions at Horizon Charter School; and finance controller for San Juan Unified School District, managing a multimillion-dollar budget. Laxmi holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on General Management from California State University-Sacramento.
