Michelle Wilkerson

Michelle Wilkerson currently serves as the Sr. Director of Corporate Insurance & Risk Management at Sierra Space, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Michelle was the Director of Insurance at BLUE ORIGIN from February 2019 to July 2022 and also contributed to the Contingency Planning and Recovery Management Group during the same period. Michelle’s extensive background includes serving as Program Director of Global Insurance at The AES Corporation and Director of Insurable Risk at Direct Energy. Michelle has been involved in several advisory boards, providing insights on insurance products as a member of the Client Advisory Boards for Chubb and Zurich NA Risk Managers. Furthermore, Michelle held leadership roles within the Risk Insurance Management Society, including Past President and Treasurer. Michelle earned a BBA in general business from Walsingham University between 1991 and 1995.
