Marc von Wyl

Marc von Wyl is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning. Currently serving as the Lead NLP Engineer at Sightengine since September 2022, Marc has previously contributed as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Algolia and as a Lead NLP Engineer at Factmata. With a strong foundation in academia, Marc has taught introductory NLP courses at EPITA: Ecole d'Ingénieurs en Informatique and held research positions at the University of Geneva. Marc's career in technology began with roles at the Engineers School of Geneva, leading to expertise in speech research and language modeling during tenure at Autonomy. Marc holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Geneva and a Bachelor in Computer Science from the Engineers School of Geneva.
