Computer Vision Scientist at Sighthound

Guang Shu started their work experience as a Research Intern at Sighthound, Inc. from May 2014 to December 2014. They then joined the company as a Computer Vision Scientist in January 2015 and currently hold this position. Prior to joining Sighthound, Inc., Guang Shu worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida from August 2009 to December 2014. Their role involved conducting research in the field of Computer Vision and Machine Learning, focusing on visual tracking, object detection and recognition, action recognition, video denoising, video registration, and sparse representation methods.

Guang Shu completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology from 2002 to 2006. Later, from 2006 to 2009, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition at Shanghai Jiaotong University. Finally, from 2009 to 2014, Guang Shu earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Vision from the University of Central Florida.
