Shawn Batey

Shawn Batey is a Senior Process Specialist at Sigma Engineers and Constructors, Inc. since March 2021, bringing extensive experience in process engineering and design. Previously, Shawn served as the Process Design Lead at ExxonMobil from April 2001 to February 2021, focusing on safety and capital efficiency for capital projects in the Baton Rouge area while mentoring junior engineers. Earlier roles include Senior Engineer and Process Engineer at Uniroyal Chemical Co., where optimization of energy and raw materials was a priority, and Process Engineer at Vista Chemical Company, responsible for the site Wastewater Unit. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
