Eric Bannatyne

Eric Bannatyne has held a variety of roles in the software engineering and web development fields. In 2013, they were a Web & Online Specialist at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. In 2014, they were a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto Department of Computer Science and a Web Developer at Varsity Publications Inc. In 2015, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Google, and in 2016 they were a Software Engineering Intern at Facebook. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Software Engineer at Rubrik, Inc., where they were part of the Cloud Archival team and designed scalable systems for enterprise data management. Eric also led the design and development of Smart Tiering for Azure, a mechanism for optimizing cloud storage costs.

Eric Bannatyne attended the University of Toronto from 2013-2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
