Phong Tran

Phong Tran has a diverse and extensive work experience. Phong currently holds the position of Group Reporting & Accounting Manager at Sigma Healthcare, starting in May 2023. Previously, Phong worked as the Financial Controller at ISX Financial from October 2019 to May 2023. Phong also served as the Financial Controller at Transdev Australasia from May 2013 to June 2019.

Before that, Phong held several roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb. From August 2012 to March 2013, they were the Regional Finance Manager, overseeing a team and managing the accounting function for the Asia Pacific region. From May 2009 to July 2012, Phong served as the Country Finance Manager for Australia and New Zealand, responsible for finance-related activities and building relationships with key stakeholders. Phong also worked as the Regional General Accounting Manager from July 2007 to April 2009, leading a team in month-end reporting and project management. Phong started their career as a Financial Accountant at Bristol-Myers Squibb from July 2002 to June 2007.

At the beginning of their career, Phong worked as an External Auditor at KPMG from July 1995 to January 2001.

Phong Tran completed their Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance from the Economics University of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 1995. Phong then pursued further education and attained a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from RMIT University in 2002. In 2004, they completed a program at CPA Australia. Prior to that, in 2000, Phong Tran was affiliated with CPA Vietnam.
