Karim Rajwani

Head of Product at Sigma Ratings

Karim Rajwani has a diverse work experience with various companies and roles. From 1998 to 2015, they worked at RBC as the Global Head of AML. Karim then joined Deutsche Bank as the Global Head of I&I, Financial Crime, from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they became a Global AML Advisor at Quantexa until 2018. Karim then served as SVP and Chief Operating Officer at Scotiabank from 2018 to 2022. In 2021, they became an Advisory Board Member at both The Knoble and the Anti-Human Trafficking Intelligence Initiative. In 2022, they worked as an Independent Consultant. Currently, they hold positions as Head of Product at Sigma Ratings and as a Board Member at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital.

Karim Rajwani's education history includes attending the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, where they pursued a degree or qualification in accounting. Karim also studied at Bristol and obtained a BA in Accounting and Finance. Additionally, Karim completed a degree or qualification at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, earning the designation of FCA. Karim also studied at ACAMS, ICAEW, and obtained a qualification or degree from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
