Brian Patterson

Brian Patterson has extensive experience in firmware engineering. Brian began their career at Hewlett-Packard in 1998, serving as a Firmware Engineer for 16 years until 2014. In 2014, they joined Micron Technology as a Firmware Engineer and worked there for 7 years until 2021. Currently, Brian holds the position of Firmware Test Engineer at SigmaSense, where they started in March 2021.

Brian Patterson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine, where they studied from 1985 to 1990. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, completing their studies from 1995 to 1998. In terms of additional certifications, Brian obtained a Professional Mechanical Engineer certification from the California Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in January 1994. Brian also holds a Private Multi Engine Instrument Pilot certification from the U.S. Department of Transportation, obtained in August 2011.
