Nick Shamlou has enjoyed over thirty years advancing Semiconductor companies’ businesses. Initially at Motorola Semiconductors (Freescale), he held several key positions including the Director of Global Sales for the Advanced Digital Consumer Division.
Most recently, Mr. Shamlou was Vice President of Sales of AQUANTIA Corporation. While at AQUANTIA, he established the sales infrastructure and channel sales strategy that led to critical design wins driving the business into new target markets including signage, service providers, PC/mother board, and automotive. These activities contributed to the company’s listing ability on the NYSE (AQ) later followed by an acquisition by Marvell Semiconductor.
Formerly, as Vice President of Asia Sales with Broadcom Corporation, Nick established the sales and channel infrastructure defining market strategies and account penetration plans that resulted in the creation of a $2.5B business.
This success was followed by Nick running the worldwide sales organization at Ikanos Communications, where he was Vice President of worldwide sales and customer engineering. Nick’s efforts at Ikanos were instrumental in defining the ODM sales strategy which propelled the company into the home gateway market.
While at Celestica Corporation, holding the role of President & Representative Director of Japan KK, Mr. Shamlou was presented with the challenge of revitalizing an ailing business in a neighboring industry. He reversed the negative EBIAT trend and increased the top line revenue by 70%. Nick embraced the need to assist small to mid-size semiconductor companies, which led to him becoming the founder and CEO of EXCELERASIA Inc.
