Harshal Kothawade

Harshal Kothawade is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in machine learning and data analytics. Currently serving as Associate Lead Data Scientist at Sigmoid since February 2024, Harshal previously worked as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Pelican.ai, focusing on information extraction from SWIFT LC Message text and pattern identification projects aimed at improving client decision-making. Harshal has also held mentorship roles at Great Learning and Skill Nation, where substantial contributions were made in teaching data science and creating curricula. Earlier experience includes positions at Conga, Contract Wrangler, Netcore Solutions, and TCS, where skills in machine learning, data analysis, and SAP system support were honed. Harshal holds a Post Graduate Program in Data Science and Business Analytics from Texas McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology.
