Srinivas Rao is a seasoned professional in data science and engineering, currently serving as the Data Science Vice President at Sigmoid since June 2021. Previously, Srinivas held the position of Senior Chief Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute India, where significant contributions included the development of AI-powered virtual assistant Bixby and the creation of tools for analyzing Automatic Speech Recognition and Natural Language Understanding systems. Srinivas's earlier roles included Data Scientist at Aujas Networks, where an AI-based Vulnerability Intelligence software was developed, and Assistant Manager at HSBC, focusing on fraud scorecard design for retail card customers. Srinivas’s career began as a Senior Analyst at AbsolutData Research & Analytics, specializing in retail and web analytics. Education includes a dual degree in Manufacturing Science and Industrial Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
