David van Rooij

David van Rooij is currently the Head of Data Science Products at Signal Technologies, where they lead strategic data science initiatives and own the backlog and product roadmap. Previously, they served as a Data Scientist at the same company, where they implemented machine learning models and optimized company operations. Before Signal Technologies, they worked as a Software Engineer at BranchUp and a Machine Learning Researcher at Judopay. Their education background includes a Master of Science in Data Science from UCL and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Amsterdam, with an exchange programme at the University of Melbourne. Prior to their current roles, they freelanced as a Software Engineer, gaining diverse experience in web development projects.
