Mathew Martens

Mathew Martens has a diverse work experience in the field of accounting and management. Mathew is currently working at Signature Analytics as a Senior Accountant, where they started in December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Staff Accountant at the same company from July 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining Signature Analytics, Mathew Martens worked at Mulligan Funding, LLC. Mathew held various roles at the company, starting as an Associate Credit Analyst from August 2018 to July 2019. Mathew then worked as a Business Development Representative from June 2020 to December 2020. Later, they became a Credit Analyst from July 2019 to March 2021, and finally a Senior Credit Analyst from March 2021 to June 2021.

In addition to their accounting experience, Mathew Martens also worked at Cohn Restaurant Group as a Floor Manager. Mathew managed the floor of the restaurant group's bar-cade venture called Coin Haus in downtown La Mesa. This was a full-time role that they balanced with their full-time undergraduate academics workload. Mathew'sduties included back-of-house sales and cost data entry, cash reconciliations, leading and coordinating a team, processing payments, and providing management-level feedback on sales and consumer interest trends. Mathew worked at Cohn Restaurant Group from June 2016 to May 2017.

Mathew Martens has completed their education in Economics at UC San Diego. Mathew also pursued a minor in Accounting at The Rady School of Management- Undergraduate Programs. Additionally, Mathew has obtained certifications in Reading Financial Statements from the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI) in January 2021, as well as Learning R and Power BI: Dashboards for Beginners from LinkedIn in December 2020.
