Shawna Haering

Shawna Haering has a extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Shawna currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Signature Advantage Plan since March 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Managed Care at Signature Healthcare starting from October 2019. From July 2015 to October 2019, they worked at CommuniCare Health Services as the Vice President of Managed Care.

Before that, Shawna Haering worked at Extendicare Inc. from July 2011 to July 2015, where they held the role of National Director of Managed Care. In this position, they were responsible for the managed care strategy for 164 Skilled Nursing Facilities, including partnership development and contract negotiation.

Prior to Extendicare Inc., Shawna Haering was employed by Extendicare Health Services from June 1998 to July 2011. During their tenure at Extendicare Health Services, they held various roles including Area Director of Managed Care, Area Director of Education and Training, Regional Director of Operations, and Regional Nurse Consultant. These roles involved responsibilities such as sales, managing daily rates for managed care patients, education and training of staff, business development, and overseeing various aspects of care in multiple skilled nursing facilities.

Shawna Haering obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Theology from The College of Mount St Joseph between 1984 and 1987.
