Chris Marek

Chris Marek currently serves as the First Responder Liaison for Plum Creek Recovery Ranch and Georgetown Behavioral Health Institute at Signature Healthcare Services, starting in May 2023. In this role, Chris connects first responder agencies to behavioral health services and supports the development of first responder programming. Previously, Chris worked as a Public Safety Officer and Corporal for the City of Woodway from July 2018 to April 2023, fulfilling dual roles as a law enforcement officer and firefighter while serving as a team leader on the tri-city SWAT team. From January 2013 to July 2018, Chris was a Police Officer for the City of Hewitt, participating as a SWAT operator, police academy instructor, and defensive tactics instructor, among other roles. Chris’s career began at Acadian Ambulance as an Emergency Medical Technician from June 2011 to September 2012. Presently, Chris is pursuing a degree at Tarleton State University, scheduled to complete in December 2024.
