John Braun Csp, Chst

John Braun, CSP, CHST has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. John started their career in 1996 as a Research Assistant (Project Manager) at Bloomberg LP. John then worked as the East Coast Manager of Technical Support at Kana Communications from 1999 to 2001. After that, they served as the ISO 9000 Manager at Volt Telecommunication, where they managed the company's quality management systems. From 2001 to 2004, they worked as a Freelance Editing Consultant for Prentice Hall Publishing, editing biology and ecology textbooks. John then joined Joseph Jingoli & Son, Inc. in 2002 and served as the Director of Health & Safety, responsible for overseeing health and safety on various projects. In 2005, they joined HazTek, Inc. as the Director of Operations/Senior Project Manager. John later worked at River Terminal Development as the Director of Safety & Health. In 2009, they founded Signature Safety, LLC, where they currently serve as the CEO, providing full-service EHS consulting. In 2020, they also became the CEO of Signature Services, a recruiting firm specializing in the construction industry.

John Braun, CSP, CHST, earned a BA in English from The College of New Jersey, where they attended from 1992 to 1996. Prior to that, John attended Arthur L. Johnson Regional High School from 1989 to 1992. On top of their formal education, John obtained additional certifications as a CSP (Certified Safety Professional) from BCSP in June 2010 and a CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) from BCSP in April 2005.
