David Ritscher

David Ritscher has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. David started their career as a Scientist at the Cardiac Rhythm Management Lab at the University of Alabama, where they conducted basic research experiments related to sudden cardiac death prediction and developed algorithms for risk estimation and heart activation patterns analysis. David then worked as a Senior Principal Scientist at Medtronic, Inc. and Zeo, Inc., where they continued to contribute to scientific research and development.

In 2009, David became the Chief Scientific Officer at Corum Medical, Inc., overseeing the company's scientific initiatives. David later transitioned to a role as Senior Developer at athenahealth, Inc. in 2011.

David's expertise in research and development led him to work as a DSP Engineer at Bose Corporation from 2012 to 2014. Following this, they joined WHOOP as the Director of Research and Development, leading the creation of a wrist-worn monitor for high-end athletes. David was responsible for the full pathway of development, from signal acquisition to estimating physiological parameters, and conducted research on sensor design and optimization.

David then joined Cambridge Consultants in 2017 as a Senior Consultant and Connected Systems Architect, where they contributed their expertise in connected systems and provided consulting services. David most recently holds the position of Chief Engineer at Signifier Medical Technologies Ltd.
