Dzmitry Aliakseyeu has a long and diverse work experience. Dzmitry started their career as a PHD Student at TU/e, where they developed applications for interactive tabletop systems. Dzmitry then worked as a Post Doc and later as a Lecturer at TU Eindhoven, focusing on user-centered engineering and domain health. In 2007, they joined Philips Research Europe as a Senior Scientist, leading various research projects related to user experience and interaction techniques. Dzmitry also worked on retail and hospitality domains, augmented reality, and machine learning. After their time at Philips, they worked at Philips Lighting and Signify as a Senior UX Researcher and Principal UX Researcher, respectively, where they contributed to innovation projects and advocated for a customer-centric approach. Overall, Dzmitry has demonstrated expertise in user-centered design, research, and innovation in the field of lighting applications and IoT technology.

Dzmitry Aliakseyeu holds a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, which they obtained from Eindhoven University of Technology from 1999 to 2003. In 1993 to 1998, they pursued an MSc in Radiophysics and Electronics at Belarusian State University. In 2013, they attended Saïd Business School, University of Oxford for Executive Education in Scenario Planning. Additionally, they have obtained certification in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera Course Certificates in 2019.
