Heinz Willebrand

Heinz Willebrand has a strong background in the technology industry, with a focus on optical communication systems. Heinz has held various executive roles at companies such as Signify, LightPointe, Firefly Wireless Networks, Rayawave, and Eagle Optoelectronics. Most recently, they served as the Chief Evangelist for LiFi Systems at Signify. Prior to that, they held leadership positions at LightPointe, including Non-Executive Chairman, CEO, and President. Heinz also served as the CEO and President of Firefly Wireless Networks. Before these roles, Heinz was the CEO and Co-Founder of Rayawave, the CTO and Founder of LightPointe, and the CTO and Founder of Eagle Optoelectronics.

Heinz Willebrand completed their education at the University of Münster, where they obtained a PhD in Physics from 1982 to 1992.
