Ali Mahdi

Ali Mahdi is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in materials science and engineering. Currently employed at Signifyd since September 2022, Ali previously held the position of data scientist at ASML from October 2021 to September 2022. Ali completed a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University, where work included characterizing Neuromorphic devices and studying polymer effects on electrical properties. Prior undergraduate research at UC Santa Barbara involved fabricating hybrid perovskite thin films and developing organometallic catalysts, complemented by additional research experience at UCLA and other institutions. Ali holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from UC Santa Barbara, achieving high academic honors in both degrees.
