Melissa Borg

Melissa Borg is a Senior Research Scientist at Sigrid Therapeutics AB, a position held since February 2021, and previously served as a Preclinical Researcher. Prior to this role, Melissa was an Assistant Professor and conducted postdoctoral research at Karolinska Institutet from April 2013 to January 2021. During this time, Melissa also held a postdoctoral fellowship with Svenska Sällskapet för Medicinsk Forskning from July 2017 to June 2019. Melissa completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physiology at Monash University between 2009 and 2013 and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with Honours in Exercise Physiology from Victoria University in 2009, following a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biomedical Science from 2008.
