Vidar Stokke

Vidar Stokke has worked as a Senior Network Engineer for Sikt - Kunnskapssektorens tjenesteleverandør since 2022 and Uninett AS since 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Engineer and Staff Engineer at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology from 2000 to 2020. In their role as Senior Engineer, they were responsible for computer network design and administration, working with wireless and wired networks, and designing and administering the university's VPN-solution.

Vidar Stokke obtained a Bachelor in Computer Engineering from Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST) between 1996 and 1999. Vidar also holds certifications from Ekahau, Cisco Systems, and GK. TheirEkahau certifications include Ekahau Certified Survey Engineer (obtained in June 2017) and ECSE Design (obtained in October 2019). TheirCisco Systems certifications include Cisco Certified Network Associate (obtained in November 2008), Cisco Certified Network Associate Wireless (obtained in May 2011), and Cisco Advanced Wireless Field Specialist (obtained in June 2008).
