Phillip Tong

Phillip Tong is an experienced Human Resources professional with a robust background at SILAC Insurance Company since May 2014, progressing through various HR roles to the position of Human Resources Manager. Responsibilities include supervising the HR team, analyzing HR metrics, managing complex employee relations, overseeing payroll and benefits programs, and developing company policies. Prior roles include Senior Human Resources Generalist and Human Resources Generalist, where Phillip facilitated payroll processes, managed hiring and termination, and conducted employee onboarding. Additional experience as a Rate Specialist and Receptionist involved process implementation and client interaction. Phillip also served as South Region Vice President at Salt Lake Community College, managing a budget and leading a team in campus activities. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a minor in Human Nutrition from the University of Utah.
