Thomas Franz

Thomas Franz has extensive experience in operations and management roles. Thomas served as the Vice President of Operations at Silgan Closures since 2018. Prior to that, they held the same position at Gentherm Inc from 2013 to 2017. During their time at Gentherm Inc, they had global responsibilities for manufacturing, logistics, manufacturing engineering, and occupational safety. Additionally, they worked at Faurecia, where they served as the Operations Director, General Manager Mercosur, and Plant Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for leading production sites, improving operational excellence, launching new programs, and implementing industrial strategies.

Thomas Franz studied at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 1989 to 1995, where they obtained a Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur (MB) degree.
