Margo Rice

Margo Rice, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive work experience in human resources. Their most recent role is Vice President of Human Resources at Silgan Containers, a position they began in July 2022. Prior to that, they served as Senior Director and then Director of Human Resources at the same company. In these roles, they were responsible for labor relations, talent acquisition, training, investigations, and handling complaints and charges with regulatory agencies such as the EEOC and NLRB. Margo also had previous experience as a Regional Human Resources Manager and Plant Human Resources Manager at Silgan Containers, where they supported multiple manufacturing facilities and handled various HR activities including labor relations, grievance resolution, negotiations, and workers' compensation. Prior to joining Silgan Containers, Margo worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Automatic Feed Company from 1997 to 2000.

Margo Rice, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management (MSHRM) from Thomas Edison State University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from Bowling Green State University, from 1990 to 1994. Margo's high school education took place at Napoleon High School. Margo also holds additional certifications including SHRM-SCP obtained from SHRM in August 2021 and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification obtained from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in August 2015.
