Chanthi Lune

Chanthi is General Counsel for SVCF. In this role, she works as in-house legal counsel to SVCF’s Board, Executive Leadership Team and other team members on legal and risk management issues relating to general business practices and foundation matters. Additionally, she manages a range of complex contractual, litigation, tax, regulatory, compliance matters and assists with foundation governance policies and practices.

Prior to joining SVCF, Chanthi worked for Drinker Biddle & Reath in its philanthropic practice group, which helps nonprofits and other social impact-oriented organizations solve strategic, administrative and development challenges. Previously, she served as a finance and administration director for a private foundation focused on positive youth development and poverty alleviation. Chanthi started her career in private wealth management working in various capacities at Robertson Stephens, Jefferies & Co., and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

Chanthi received her BA in Political Science from the University of the Pacific and her JD/MBA from Gonzaga University. She is a member of the California Bar.
