Emma Watkinson has extensive work experience in the fashion industry. Emma began their career in 2006 as a Sales Advisor for Whistles, where they were part of the original team of a new store opening in a new high-end concept shopping centre in Liverpool. In 2008, they joined Alta Moda as a Junior Buyer/E-Commerce Manager, where they worked alongside company owners across womenswear & menswear designer brands to select a careful edit of luxury brands for the SS10 & AW10 seasons. Emma also oversaw and managed the company's first e-commerce presence. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Buyer and Sales Advisor for Alta Moda. In 2010, Emma joined my-wardrobe.com as a Junior Merchandiser and Guest of a Guest LLC as an Editorial Team, where they wrote compelling articles for a vibrant New York based readership. Finally, in 2011, Emma co-founded SilkFred.com, where they serve as the CEO.
Emma Watkinson's education history includes a BA Hons in English from the University of Liverpool (2005-2008), followed by studies at The English International College (2001-2005) and Merchant Taylor's School For Girls (1998-2001).
