Louise Ekelund

Louise Ekelund has a diverse range of work experience in category management and product management. Louise started their career as a Product Manager Trainee at Boston Group A/S in 2012, where they later became a Nordic Product Manager, responsible for product groups such as Gaming, Hardware, Computer accessories, Monitors, and Software. In 2018, Louise joined SILVAN as a Buying Coordinator and later progressed to become a Junior Category Manager. Louise then took on the role of Category Manager, where they had end-to-end responsibility for the 'Garden' and 'Seasons' categories. Currently, Louise is serving as the Co-Head of Category Management at SILVAN, leading the overall strategy across multiple categories like 'Gardening', 'Outdoor build', 'Leisure, BBQ and Garden furniture', and 'Home and Electrical'. Louise is also responsible for P&L and maintains a close reference to Silvan C-level.

Louise Ekelund began their education in 2009 at CPH WEST, where they studied innovation and marketing and obtained a HHX degree in 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they attended Niels Brock and pursued a purchasing education, although the field of study for this degree is not specified. Most recently, from 2020 to 2022, Louise enrolled at Erhvervsakademi Aarhus | Business Academy Aarhus and completed an Academy Profession Degree in International Sales and Marketing.
