Len Schmidt

Len Schmidt has had extensive experience in supply chain management and operations in the healthcare industry. LEN'smost recent position was as the Director of Supply Chain Management at Silver Cross Hospital, where they oversaw supply chain and strategic initiatives, including negotiating contracts, purchasing, inventory control, and major construction projects. Prior to that, they served as the Regional Director of Supply Chain at Advocate Aurora Health, where they collaborated with leadership to identify cost savings opportunities and managed logistics and supply chain teams. Len also worked at Huron as a Director, where they partnered with hospitals to improve their supply chain systems and analyzed staffing models. LEN has held leadership roles in various organizations, including serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Prompt Ambulance Service, the Site Administrator and Director of Operations at NorthShore Health Centers, and the Vice President of Supply Chain at Vanguard Health System and Provena Health. With a strong background in supply chain management and operations, Len has demonstrated expertise in reducing costs, improving efficiencies, and ensuring quality and timely delivery of services in the healthcare industry.

Len Schmidt has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Indiana University Bloomington. LEN also holds a Master of Public Administration degree in Healthcare Administration from Indiana University Northwest.
