Austin Tate

Austin is responsible for leading the family office of Brian Z France, Retired Chairman and CEO of NASCAR, and overseeing the family’s direct investment arm, Silver Falcon Capital, which partners with emerging consumer brands and sports entertainment businesses. Based in New York City, Los Angeles, CA and Charlotte, NC.

He joined NASCAR in 2007. After serving in operational leadership roles in the Licensing, International, and Racing Operations Divisions, he began advising the France Family on their non-motorsports portfolio companies in 2011.

Austin brings over 15 years of sales, marketing, operations and executive management experience coupled with a unique global perspective to all endeavors.

He began his career at General Electric in the Commercial Leadership Program and later as a National Account Manager in the Advanced Materials Division.

He speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and is a Certified Global Business Professional by the National Association of Small Business Trade Educators. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in International Politics from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.

He resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and three young children. An avid soccer player, Tarheels/Hoyas fan, toddler wrangler, and global traveler, he is always hunting for the next great adventure.
