James Ochse

James Ochse is an experienced professional in the agricultural industry, currently serving as Cultivation Manager at Silver Lion Farms since January 2024. Prior to this role, James held the position of Director of Cultivation at Mavuno Ltd from September 2019 to January 2024, contributing to its international agricultural operations. James has also worked in various capacities including Agronomy & Crop Performance Senior Advisor at MJ Holdings, Cultivation Manager at CANNDESCENT and MedMen, and Chief Technology Officer/Senior Agronomist at Cannabolics LLC. James's early career includes experience as a CEAC Technician/Laboratory Assistant at the Controlled Environmental Agriculture Center at the University of Arizona, and as a Munitions Systems Technician in the United States Air Force. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Plant Sciences from the University of Arizona and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Plant Breeding and Genetics at Iowa State University.
