Edward Yates has worked as a Cyber Security Analyst at SilverEdge Government Solutions since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Varen Technologies as a Network Analyst from 2011 to 2022. Before that, from 2008 to 2011, they worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Global Network Analyst/Trainer.

Edward Yates received their Bachelor of Science degree in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2013. Edward later pursued higher education and obtained their Master of Science degree in Cyber Security Technology from the same institution in 2019.
