Rowan Skewes

Rowan Skewes is a data scientist at Silverpond since September 2018, with a strong background in aerospace engineering and mechatronics. Prior experience includes roles at the Melbourne Space Program, where Rowan served as Flight Systems Deputy Team Lead, overseeing the technical design of the ACRUX-1 CubeSat project, and previously held several positions within the same organization, focusing on flight systems and vehicle integration. Internship experiences at Lockheed Martin Australia and IBM Research Australia involved feasibility studies for autonomous systems and deep learning algorithms, respectively. Rowan holds a Master of Engineering in Mechatronics and a Bachelor of Science in Pure Mathematics, both from the University of Melbourne.
