Beth Jackson

Beth Jackson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Beth started their career at the University of Otago, where they worked as an Administrative Assistant and later as an Executive Assistant. In these roles, they managed databases, tracked ethics applications, and coordinated project groups. Beth also assisted with admissions processes, responded to student inquiries, and maintained records.

Beth then moved on to UCL, where they took on the role of Human Resources Assistant. Here, they undertook recruitment tasks, updated the department website, and provided advice and guidance to staff and managers. Beth also served as a Project Manager, managing financial and contractual aspects, overseeing the international team, and preparing reports. Additionally, they had the responsibility of overseeing two research associates.

Currently, Beth is working as a Frontend Developer at Silvi.ai, starting in 2022.

Beth Jackson completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology at the University of Otago from 2001 to 2005. In the same period, they also obtained another degree, a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), specializing in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, also from the University of Otago.

In 2014, Beth received a PRINCE2 certification in Project Management from the University of Westminster.

More recently, in the year 2020 to 2021, they attended HackYourFuture Denmark, although the specific degree and field of study are not provided.

Beth has also obtained additional certifications, including the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in March 2022, and the JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures as well as the Responsive Web Design certifications from freeCodeCamp in January 2021 and April 2020, respectively.
