Ryan Perry

Ryan Perry has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. In their current position as a Sales Engineer at Silvus Technologies since July 2021, they are responsible for sales-related engineering tasks. Prior to this, they worked at Unified Command from January 2019 to July 2021 as an Integration Specialist, where they installed camera systems and conducted drone flights for law enforcement support during large-scale events. From April 2016 to July 2021, they served as a Firearms Instructor at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, where they taught firearms manipulation, shooting skills, and tactics to new and seasoned officers. Additionally, they worked as a Police Detective at the same department from July 2000 to July 2021. In October 2019, Ryan had the opportunity to teach courses in Violent Extremism/Counter-terrorism and Community Oriented Policing as a Course Instructor at the International Law Enforcement Academy in Botswana, representing their agency and sharing knowledge with police officers from 15 African countries.

Ryan Perry has an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Brigham Young University - Idaho, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their degree, they have acquired several certifications including the StreamCaster Training Course from Silvus Technologies in September 2019, the Axis Certified Professional from Axis Communications in May 2018, the Ubiquiti Broadband Wireless Admin from Ubiquiti Inc. in February 2018, the Advanced Nevada P.O.S.T. from the State of Nevada in March 2016, and the Firearms Training [Instructor] from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in March 2016. Ryan also holds certifications such as the Covert Electronic Surveillance Course from the FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING CENTER in July 2009, Certified Mesh Engineer from Firetide, Inc. - A Division of UNICOM Global in January 2009, Network+ from CompTIA in September 2008, the FAA Part 107 Drone Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in December 2018, and the Milestone Certified Integration Technician from Milestone Systems in September 2018.
