Daniela Kon Lieberberg

Daniela Kon Lieberberg is an accomplished professional in the field of impact media and education, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism since August 2021. Daniela is the Founder and CEO of SIMA STUDIOS, a non-profit agency dedicated to advancing positive social change through the award, curation, and distribution of documentaries and creative media projects. In addition, Daniela is the Executive Director of SIMA Academy, an award-winning streaming platform that promotes social impact through curated short-documentaries in educational settings across over 100 countries. Daniela's commitment to advocating for women's rights is reflected in their role as a Board Member on the Women's Rights Committee at Human Rights Watch. Additionally, Daniela founded DEEDA, a consultancy collective for social justice documentaries, and has prior experience as a Researcher and Assistant Editor at Blowback Productions. Daniela holds a Master of Arts in Documentary Production from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Cultural Studies from the University of the Arts London.
