Mirza Shah

Mirza A. Shah is a co-founder and CTO of Simbe Robotics, where notable accomplishments include the development of the world's first fully autonomous robotic shelf auditing and analytics solution for retail since August 2013. Prior experience includes serving as a software engineer at Willow Garage, contributing to the core ROS platform, and founding Emoto Robotics, which focused on creating robotic companions with emotional and personality traits. Shah has held research engineering roles at Penn State University's Applied Research Laboratory, where expertise was applied to military operations research and the development of autonomous control software for underwater vehicles. Additionally, Shah served as an instructor for an introductory programming course at Penn State, designing the curriculum and course materials. Educational credentials include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Penn State University.
