Marc Barrington

Marc Barrington is an experienced energy industry professional with a robust background in leadership and project development. Currently serving as the Chief Development Officer (acting) at Alinta Energy since November 2022, Marc focuses on energy transition projects including hydro storage, wind, and microgrids. Previously, Marc held roles such as Interim Chief Executive Officer at RACE for 2030, Chief Executive Officer at SIMEC Energy Australia, and Head of Sales for Asia Pacific at Senvion Australia. Marc’s extensive experience also includes significant positions at AGL Energy, where responsibilities spanned energy services, eco-markets, and trading activities. Marc's career began in finance with roles at MKS (SWITZERLAND) SA and Rothschild & Co, following service in the Australian Army.
