Alan Levenson

Alan Levenson has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Alan currently serves as the Director of Finance at Similarweb, where they manage a global team of Financial Controllers. In this role, they are responsible for the monthly and quarterly financial close processes, financial reporting, tax reporting, payroll management, SOX compliance, and maintenance of accounting policies. Alan also has full responsibility for Revenue Accounting under ASC 606. Prior to this, Alan was the Director of Technical Accounting & Reporting at Similarweb, where they built a new SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting function. Before joining Similarweb, Alan worked at Cognyte as the Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting, where they built and led a corporate accounting team. Alan has also gained valuable experience at PwC Israel, serving as an Audit Senior Manager, Audit Manager, and Audit Supervisor. Alan started their career at PwC as an Accountant/Auditor.

Alan Levenson attended the University of Cambridge from 2007 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History. Additionally, they obtained a Chartered Accountant qualification from ICAEW at an unspecified time.
