Luiz Gonzaga

Luiz Gonzaga is an experienced electrical engineer with a focus on power systems and cable diagnostics. As Services BOP Coordinator at SIMM Soluções since June 2016, Luiz oversees commissioning activities in HV substations and MV networks in Brazil's Northeast region, specializing in wind and solar farms. Previous roles include project engineering intern at Engenharia e Qualidade, where Luiz supervised construction work and utilized AutoCAD, and research at Laboratório de Análises de Medições em Petróleo (LAMP), developing sensors for predictive maintenance in Electrical Submersible Pump Systems. Luiz's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Calgary, where Luiz was recognized for academic success. Additional training includes specialized courses in cable diagnostics and industrial automation.
