Justin Wong

Justin Wong has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Justin started their career in 2012 as a Management Trainee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where they excelled in customer service and sales. In 2013, they worked as a Corporate Partnerships Associate at the BC Lions Football Club, where they utilized their graphic design skills and conducted market research to generate revenue through business proposals.

In 2013, they also joined Simon Fraser University as a Communications and Public Relations Specialist, where they developed and executed strategic communications plans to build the university's brand and oversaw the development and distribution of the university's daily news report. Justin also worked as a Website and Social Media Consultant for The Governance Project at The Centre for Dialogue, where they managed website content and conducted research on contemporary corporate website design.

Justin continued to grow their career at Simon Fraser University, taking on roles such as Manager of Communications and Public Relations at the Beedie School of Business, where they supported the development and execution of communications tactics to enhance the faculty's brand visibility. Justin then moved on to the role of Communications and Marketing Manager and subsequently Associate Director of Communications and Marketing in the Office of the VP, Research and International at Simon Fraser University. In these roles, they led teams, developed and executed communications and marketing strategies, and provided counsel on strategic communications and change management.

Throughout their career, Justin has demonstrated exceptional performance, leadership skills, and a strong track record of exceeding targets and successfully managing projects.

Justin Wong earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from Simon Fraser University between 2009 and 2014. Justin also obtained certifications as a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci in 2021 and as a Hootsuite Certified Professional from Hootsuite Media Inc. in 2016.
