Vishal Jain

Vishal Jain currently serves as the Director of Cultural Safety in Accreditation at the Health Standards Organization since March 2023. In parallel, Vishal Jain is an Adjunct Professor and Sessional Instructor at Simon Fraser University's Faculty of Health Sciences, roles held since January 2019. Prior experience includes various positions at Fraser Health Authority from May 2015 to March 2023, culminating in the role of Director of Strategic Initiatives - Indigenous Health, and earlier roles ranging from Coordinator to Research Coordinator in Indigenous Health. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health with a focus on Social Inequities and Health from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights from Carleton University. Academic experience also includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at Simon Fraser University from September 2014 to August 2016.
