Robert Dumitrescu

Robert Dumitrescu is a Partner in the Paris office and a Board Member. He leads the firm’s Healthcare practice in France.

He specializes in strategic pricing and marketing to support international and local pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. His expertise spans a range of pricing and commercial excellence topics, from strategy to implementation. These include value-based pricing, portfolio management, discounting structures and processes, and negotiation readiness.

Mr. Dumitrescu is also responsible for the firm’s animal health practice and regularly advises clients on topics including strategic pricing, trade terms, promotion policy, key account management, and pricing organization.

Since joining Simon-Kucher in 2004, he has been based in the United States, Germany, and France. He regularly speaks at healthcare forums and conferences, and contributes to industry publications. He is a guest lecturer at ESSEC Business School and Paris Dauphine University.

Mr. Dumitrescu holds degrees from Amherst College and the London School of Economics, and an MBA from INSEAD.
