Charles Vitale

Charles Vitale serves as the Director of Corporate Security at Simon Property Group since June 2016 and is currently a Reserve Police Commander with Clermont Police Department, a position held since April 2013. Vitale holds a long-standing involvement with the Florida Police Chief's Association as a Committee Member since January 2008 and has been a member of the FBI National Academy Associates, Inc. since March 2007. Prior experience includes serving as Regional Vice President at Valor Security Services from May 2010 to April 2013 and as Deputy Chief at Sunrise Police Department from January 1988 until retirement in May 2010. Vitale's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University (1994), completion of the Command Officers Development Course at Southern Police Institute (2000), and attending the FBI National Academy (2007).
