Platte Clark

Platte Clark is a seasoned professional in screenwriting and instructional design, currently serving as a WGA Screenwriter at the Writers Guild of America West since January 2024. With extensive experience in authorship and ghostwriting, Platte has authored and ghostwritten 18 books for Simon & Schuster since 2011. As a partner at Straw Dogs Development, Platte contributes to a boutique firm specializing in training, L&D, ghostwriting, and scriptwriting. Previously, Platte held significant roles such as Vice President of Product Development at Zenger Folkman, Senior Director of Production Services at VitalSmarts, and Producer/Writer at Lumenas Animation Studio. Education includes a Master of Science in English/Instructional Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy, both from Utah State University, complemented by additional studies in Religious History.
